My children and I are always greeted with a friendly face or voice. It's a brilliant school for education and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you child is happy, learning and are in a positive environment.

Dear St Chads I have just come across the photographs of your visit to the churchyard to remember the local men who died in the First World War and who are buried there. I was both thrilled and grateful to see that you were honouring my great great uncle, Martin O'Connor who had served initially with the Grenadier Guards, then as a disciplinarian in the Royal Flying Corps. He died in 1921 as a result of 'a heart attack, caused by gassing while in the army'. Although he does have a civilian 'headstone' he is in a CWGC plot and is classified as a war casualty because he died between 1914 and 1921. Thank you so much for remembering him, as to the best of my knowledge he is not listed on any war memorial. Please keep up your wonderful work, and please do not hesitate to contact me should you require further information on Martin. Best wishes.
