Event - Reception's Chicks Hatch

On Monday 23rd February Reception Class came to school to find 10 eggs had mysteriously arrived!

We have been fascinated to watch the chicks hatch out and grow and change so quickly. We have found out how to take care of the chicks and have been keeping a diary to record the changes we see.

The female chicks are brown, and the male yellow.		We love holding the chicks.
The chicks were very fluffy.		Everyone was able to hold a chick.
