Event - Christmas Stamp Winner Meets Prince Charles

His Royal Highness, The Prince Of Wales, presented the prize for the Royal Mail Christmas Stamps Design Competition to the winners at Clarence House.

Our pupil, Arwen, who was the designer of the winning second class stamp, said: "When I went to Clarence House it was very exciting. Prince Charles was very kind when he spoke to me and gave me a framed copy of my stamp design. It was a great day and I am so happy my stamp design won".

In addition, the local post box has been decorated by the Royal Mail to celebrate Arwen's win. On 22 November 2017, Arwen was joined by her class mates and her parents for the unveiling. The post box will stay for the 2017 Christmas session.

With the help of Mum and Dad, Arwen unveiled the post box.		The post box will remain decorated through the Christmas season.
