Event - Fair Trade Assembly

During November the children were invited to design a chocolate bar for Fair Trade. Fair Trade is an organisation that ensures people who make things are paid a fair price for their work.

The two ladies that visited school told us all about Fair Trade and brought some of the products that you could buy to show us. We were shown the symbol to look to make sure the item is Fair Trade.

The children who had entered the competition each received a Fair Trade chocolate bar and the three winners got an invite to receive their prizes from Ian Austin MP.
