Event - First Holy Communion Commitment Mass

On Thursday 16th February the 24 children from Year 3, who hope to receive their First Holy Communion in June, made their commitment to prepare carefully to receive this Sacrament.

Every child had a parent or carer who presented them as a candidate for Holy Communion and promised to help and support them in this special time of preparation.

The children read the Mass readings, bidding prayers and took part in the Offertory procession.

It was a great occasion for the children and they are now looking forward to making their First Holy Communion on the 18th of June.
