Event - Gold: The Tale of King Midas
23 March 2015
On Monday 23rd March it was the turn of the children from Years 3, Year 4 and Year 5 to perform a play for their families.
The play, entitled Gold, told the tale of King Midas who made a wish that everything he touched turned to gold. His greed had disastrous consequences as his food and drink, and finally his daughter were all turned into gold. It had a happy ending as when he realised his mistake his wish was reversed and everything returned to normal.
All the children worked hard to learn their parts, so the audience thoroughly enjoyed the play with the wonderful singing and dancing.
Well done children!
