Event - Year 5 at the Birmingham Museum

On 9th September, Year 5 visited Birmingham Museum and Art gallery in connection with our topic on the Ancient Egyptians.

We handled artefacts and worked out their modern day equivalents. There was time to walk around the museum and we did an information quiz.

After lunch, Anna showed us how the Ancient Egyptians used papyrus and minerals to create their art work.

It was a busy day, but a great start to our learning journey.
